Tell me the "weather" where you live.

The cool thing about snow in your yard is it tells a story by the tracks. Lots of bird tracks.

Deer tracks come from neighbors yard across our yard then it looks liked it laid/fell down and thrashed about. There are big deep boot tracks come up in our yard to that spot and then out. Deer gone. No blood. Our best guess is someone hit it, it ran and they chased it??? Any other theories?

Sounds likely Denise. Was there drag marks?

We got power back on last night. Ran on generator and gas logs for two days. Should be in 50s tomorrow, so back to expected MS winter weather.

No drag marks.

Glad you got power back.

7 degrees right now. Suppose to hit 40. We haven't hit the predicted high all week. We haven't had any mail since last Saturday.

Much warmer today, as we are jumping just above the 32 mark for the first time in 2.5 weeks. 33 right now, which is likely the high. A couple of inches tonight, and then it looks to be a much more 'seasonal' trend for the next couple of weeks. No major warmth, but no extreme cold either. Highs running generally in the 30's each day. I'm hoping March looks much better than February has!

1:15 pm, cst. The temp is 34 degrees.
1st time above freezing in the last 2 1/2 weeks.
Forecast high of 36, with, 2 more inches of snow which will probably be wet and heavy.
Fortunately it will be above freezing for the next 4 days, daytime highs high 30's, low 40's

Aliens ??:stitch2:

We were in the mid 40s yesterday. Even with a breeze, it felt "warm". Everything is relative, I guess.

This is the first morning we started above freezing since I've been back from NC (3 weeks). We still have snow on the ground, but another day or 2 and it should be gone.

Like most places we had a deep freeze but it's not that rare in my area. We got 9 inches of snow last week and it's finally starting to melt. Spring brings severe weather, summers are scorching and humid and falls are awesome.

It was 65F sunny and beautiful yesterday at the Alabama baseball game. Saw a grand slam for Bama as they swept the series from McNease State.

Sunny and in the 60s today.

And dare I say it? Dare I? Yes I do.

Forecasted high of 71F on Wednesday!

The long term (2-week) forecast only has one day with a high in the 50s, the rest 60s.

Time to break out the shorts and flip flops and box up the slippers and mittens into the attic.
