So I got our quote from our TA last night.....wow....a little more than I expected. We want a Cars suite for November 2014......priced out CBR and it's $550 cheaper. We have stayed there before and loved it. But we had our heart set on AOA for our two boys who will be 13 and youngest will turn 8 while there. DH says stick with the suite at AOA because it will be the last time we'll be able to go while they are young enough to love it. But in the back of my mind I'm thinking..... that's $550!!! Tell me that I'm going to LOVE my Cars suite!!!

We've never stayed at AoA so I can't comment on that, but if your heart is set on trying it, I say keep it. Yes, $550 is a good amount of money to save, but if it's doable financially, I'd go with what you want. You've stayed at CBR and know it's a great resort, but if you change you might regret it once you get there wishing you had kept AoA. I say keep what you have. Have a great trip :goodvibes.

I've never stayed at CBR but we were in a Cars suite in May and loved it. There were five of us: two teenage girls, a five year old boy and my husband and I and the extra bathroom was really nice. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a separate bedroom with its own door and tv so we could get some quiet in the evenings or watch tv after the kids went to bed. The themeing in that area is spectacular as well. My son had so much fun.

We stayed in a Lion King suite last January at AoA and loved it. BUT when I took a walk around the resort, the Cars section is by far the best part of the entire resort. The theming is unreal. We're actually going back in January again and we decided before we even left that it would be a Cars suite for us next time! I truly think you wouldn't be disappointed. If you can afford it, I say go for it. They're only going to get older and then some of the magic that that resort offers may be gone. (although I'm 30 and have a hard time thinking of staying anywhere else lol) The suites are very nice. Lots of room and we could really spread out and relax after a day in the parks or an afternoon at the pool. My girls loved the murphy bed and spent a lot of time in it reading, or watching their ipads.

$550 is a lot of money, but your boys are only getting older! Go for it and stay at AoA!!! We're staying there this year only because my 4 yr old loves Cars. Yep, more expensive but totally worth the memories!

Sorry, I would go for AoA, if not for the extra room over one CBR room.

I stayed at AoA in April with my nephews (5&7) In a cars suite and we all loved it! We originally were going to stay at POR because there were 5 of us but when a discount came out it was additional $250 to change to AOA!

It was the best decision...loved the theming and details and feel of the resort, but the best part was the extra room, 2 bathrooms and small kitchenette area.

I know $550 is different to every family, but remember you are getting a suite instead of just a hotel room.

Best of luck and enjoy your trip either way!

Go with AoA it is a great resort and the Cars section is very nice. Remember you get an extra room and a bath for the extra money.

I also say stay with the Cars suite if you can afford it! We haven't stayed there yet, but walked thru in January and thought it was fabulous, just like you were in the movie. What a great time for kids that age....Have a blast!!pixiedust:

If you think it will make a difference to your sons, do it. Do they really care?
If not, CBR is a great choice. :earsboy:

Toured the model suite in LK and then walked the whole resort. Cars section is amazing and would love to stay there. The cars, roads, buildings, pool all done to the max. You will love it! :thumbsup2

Compared to CBR - You will get TWO bathrooms so no sharing with the boys, they will each get their OWN bed, you will have a PRIVATE bedroom, TWO tvs, you have the kitchenette so plan breakfast in room so help offset extra cost, it's all brand new! Seen lots of pics of decor in Cars section and looks so well done, themed without being over the top.
