Yesterday I was online looking at something from Walmart. I thought I saw a microwave that was $29. When I went to the store there wasnt one.......so I came home and looked online again, but couldnt find anything. I looked in the electronics sale this weekend, and online specials too. Tell me Im not the only one that saw it.

I didn't see it BUT my DD did get one at Walmart for school in August and it was $28. So maybe they found a few in stock and threw them up there till they were gone.

Check Fatwallet.com. I can't load the Walmart pre-Black Friday Sale page on my iTouch, but if there IS a $29 microwave, (a) it'll be listed there, (b) it won't be available until Saturday morning, and (c opinion only) I'm not sure I'd want it since it'll likely be a 600 or 700 watt oven and - as I've been doing for years - you'll have to constantly experiment with actual cooking times

Our store has then in-store off and on all the time. We bought one to put in dh's 18-wheeler. Its still in the house because he hasn't bought the inverter to use it in the truck yet.

It is not very strong but ok for steamed veggies, popcorn, baked potatoes, etc. The steamed veggies, I just put them in for the max time on the bag. Popcorn, whatever time the bag says usually works, potatoes about twice the time that the auto "potato" buttom puts on. He will just use it to heat up left overs that I send with him on the road. For that it works great.

If you do a lot with your micro--I would strongly recommend a bigger one.

This is one for my DD to take to college to put in her dorm room. She will be on a meal plan, so this would just be for reheating things or popcorn, etc.

Our Walmart has them for $29, they are 700 watts and little. Perfect for college!

oh, yeah. It would be perfect for her. Not big enough to be in the way and just enough power for what she needs.

We got our microwave for $30 when we moved in since we were on a budget at Walmart....I'm guessing they were the dorm sales though

this was in last weeks ad, its not an everyday item, out store was sold out in 3 days, ad we got in at least 50.

Wait, no, I was looking for this thread! I saw it in this the local Walmart ad online today. It may have been $30, and I think it was a Sunbeam.
