I can't seem to remember if I am right about this so could someone please help me remember?

If I am traveling to Disney World, staying in a Disney Hotel I cannot get the Dining Plan added if I have an Annual Pass, right? I would have to purchase a one day ticket for everyone in the room in order to add the Dining Plan to my package, right?

You can book an AP ticketless package with dining at the AP or rack rate without purchasing tickets. If you are using a pin code you'd need to purchase tickets.

Hello, fellow Texan! AP holders (paying rack rate or using an AP discount), people staying on DVC points, and some of the military deals allow you to add the DDP without buying park tickets.

By the way, only one adult in the room has to have an AP in order to buy the DDP for everyone. You can either buy everyone else's tickets when you get there or use a discount site to buy their tickets before you leave. You can not add their tickets to your AP ticketless pkg though.

If you use any other deal (GP discount, PIN Code, pay for 4, get 3 nights free, bounce back, kids stay free, etc) even AP holders have to buy one day park tickets for everyone in the room, in order to add the DDP. To get free dining everyone (including AP holders) must buy at least two day park tickets for everyone in the room and must also pay rack rates.

Also note how the above posters mentioned a ticketless package -- unlike normal AP resort bookings, a ticketless package with DDP follows the normal package rules, requiring a deposit and final prepayment at 45 days prior to arrival (or when booked, if shorter than that).
