I had a reservation a PBH for one night and wanted to make it two but thier were no romms left at PBH so I switched it to RPR so I could get the extra night. Please tell me I made the right choice, any great features about RPR that you could let me know about would be great. Also are two days to much,I have been told people have done both parks with FOTL in one day. Thanks

Sorry one more thing,is it close to the level of the polly over at wdw?

Others may tell you different, but personally, we prefer the RPR to the PBH. Sure the rooms are nicer and bigger at the PBH, but it's the furthest from everything and we had wicked snotty service when we were there. The RPR is nice and close, and we've always had great service there. We love the walk from the RPR to the parks. Sorry, I have never stayed at the Polynesian (we tend to stay at the Epcot resorts), so I can't help you there.

Two days is not too much. To us, it's hardly enough. We like to relax and do 4-5 days, but others may get bored with that. If you tried to do everything in one day, it's a lot and you'd probably be tired. If you have the extra day, take it. One day for each park at a nice pace. If you don't like thrill rides, or if you have wee ones who aren't tall enough to ride many of the attractions, this will affect the time you need too. The RPR pool is nice and relaxing, so if you have extra time, it's a nice place to be.

Don't forget all the cool things to do at City Walk! enjoy!

two days is definately not too much. You can do both parks in one day but you wouldn't really enjoy them that way.

I believe that you made a good decision. My opinion is that 2 days at RPR is greater than 1 day at PBH. The important perks, like FOTL and boat transportation, are available to guests of all Univeral resorts. Also, if you prefer walking to the parks, RPR is a shorter walk to Citywalk than PBH.
As for your question on is 2 nights too much, we usually book 3 nights on our trips. On the day of our arrival, we take it easy and just hang out at either the hotel or Citywalk. The next two days, we'll spend at the parks, usually riding our favorite rides multiple times. The day of checkout, we'll hit some of the souvenier stores like Belz Outlet Center.

You made the right choice. One night is nothing. Even two will be over in a flash, but at least you'll "feel" like you stayed. Hard to describe that, but it's nice to hang out, go to the pool, and see everything. Try to arrive early and check in at 8am. Your room may be ready.
