You probably want to figure out sub groups of 3 or less, as people sitting directly in front, behind, or across from you are of limited value during the flight while the seatbelt signs are lit.
You with the lap baby (?) might want to share a row with grand parents. If you board during family boarding you could try and take a middle seat. Most folks that don't know you won't want to sit near a lap baby, so when the grandparents board there will be a place for them.
