When I go to Disney World in April, we are staying at the hotel pop Century. I am so excited because it looks like such a fun hotel to stay at!! I've seen pictures, and the pool looks great especially. Tell me more about this hotel please.:yay:

i really like it. my family and i stay there everytime we go. the hotel itself is really cool and your should for sure walk around to look at everything that they have. we usually end up staying in the 50's area but we stayed in the 90's once and that was good too. i have not been in any of the pools, but they look like they would be fun, especially the pool in the 60's area. the food court has really good food (i really like the chocolate chip muffins!) and they have food that was served alot in different decades. i hope you have fun staying there!!

Favorite hotel! We stay there everytime we go to WDW. Except once we stayed at All Star Movies. The rooms are pretty big, and they are very nice. They have disney comforters and photos on the walls. They have laundry rooms, outside, I think there are a few near the pools, they are very nice too. I love the food court, the food is actually pretty good, and it's really cute inside. There is a large pool right in front of the food court and other small ones in the different sections. Everytime I've been there, they weren't too crowded. I think we stayed at the 70s section last time, I can't exactly remember. Their big statues are so awesome! I'd walk around each section of the hotel to check them out. They have a big (I mean huge) checkerboard and a huge buzz and woody. Just all around awesome.

I hope you have fun!

I like it! They have a pretty good food court -- lots of variety. The theming is really cute. If you have any little ones with you, you should take them to the kiddie pool; my 5 year old cousin loved it. It's located right behind the Hippy Dippy Pool. Uhm, the rooms are pretty standard and about the same at any value or moderate resort.

Have fun!

I personally did not like it at all. But, everyone seems to love it so I'm sure you will like it. Say hi to the giant red yo-yos for me :D

Coming from the big hotel snob that I am, I enjoyed Pop Century. It was pretty cool. It'd be my first choice for a value (I'm a deluxe hotel snob ;) )

It was okay, but not that great. But I did like the food court a lot and the lobby was pretty cool. And the game room is really fun! The pools are really cool too, I just didn't really like the rooms.

I honestly hated it. we stayed there twice and i was not impressed. I'm 18 and both me and my 15 and 16 year old brothers hated the pools. i also thought it was very tacky but it's just a personal opinion. On the positive side the food court wasn't bad. but no matter what you'll be and Disney at you'll have a wonderful trip im sure. have fun !!

if we're staying at a value, my first pick is always pop century (and my favorite resort is AKL, so i'm kindof a deluxe snob lol)

pop has a dedicated bus line, which makes your bus wait time MUCH shorter.

I'd pick pop century if I were to stay at a value resort (I'm thinking about it for a possible solo trip January 2011 if I get a AP this next trip in May). I think it's kinda cool how a value resort has a lake in it. And I like the big icons, they seem like fun.

I love the Pop Century!! At first when my mom said we are staying there, I was a little bit dissapointed because Iwanted to stay at the Beach Club again. But, I had a blast there! The pool, arcade, and food court are amazing. The rooms are pretty nice there. I think I spent more time in the arcade and food court than the actual parks! You'll love it!
