Tell Me Everything You Know About OKW

We are probably staying there in a 1 bedroom with friends who are DVCers. I have no idea what to expect (other than I'll sleep on the sofa bed).

Does OKW have mousekeepers? Or do I have to wash towels (or even bring them?).

I know nothing about this place...so fill me with your knowledge!

If this stay is a gift from them, I might offer to arrange daily housekeeping, available for a charge, as a thank you. There is a washer and dryer in the unit so wash is pretty easy. The 1 BR is very large compared to a regular hotel room. Enjoy.

My family stayed in a one bedroom this past November and we had a great time. The one bedroom villa is quite large. My son and young brother alternated sleeping on the sofa and they did not complain so they must be pretty comfortable. Bus service (if you need it is pretty good - at least that was our experience Thanksgiving week). Let's see, you can take a boat to Downtown Disney. You can have a great meal at Olivia's the on-site restaurant and even though the main pool does not have a slide, it looks enjoyable.

I can't think of anything else right now but aside from our home resort (Hilton Head), OKW is our favorite DVC resort! You will have a great time!

I want to warn you that once you have stayed in a one-bedroom in OKW everything else will look very small by comparison. It is a wonderful place and I love it (also a DVC owner) however, I have a hard time adapting to a "standard" hotel room when were are staying elsewhere.

I'm sure you'll have a great time and a comfortable stay. This is one timeshare that sells itself.
