This is a quote from http://orlando.about.com/od/pubssportsbars/a/RaglanRoad.htm

Traditional and contemporary Irish music, storytelling and dance help create a spirited social ambience, and the friendly pub staff brings Emerald Isle charm to Downtown Disney. Irish musicians entertain nightly and guests are encouraged to sing, clap and dance to the lively performances.
Thanks a bunch, Stephanie. Maybe we'll see you there. I wasn't even aware that there was entertainment. When I chose this rest. I booked by the menu, food sounded great. Thanks again.

I never thought of the lockers to store warm clothes in does anybody have a price list so I can add that to our budget especially for MVMCP night!!!!

We will be going to WDW from 11/19 - 24 to visit my DS for TG. Since it will only be me and DS 16 going the only ADR we made was for TG dinner at Tony's. We are hoping that since DS works in MK that he can be off work about that time to have dinner with us. If he can't get off that day at all then we are going to plan for LTT earlier in the week. What meal is it that they serve TG dinner?

We will be staying at OKW on Thanksgiving and are considering ordering a premade Thanksgiving dinner to be delivered. Has anyone done this and if so what delivery service did you use and would you recommend it? There will be 8 of us for dinner!
thanks in advance,
Cindyf :wizard:

Besides food, anything special that they do for Thanksgiving Day at the parks?

We are going Thanksgiving week this year. I hope to have a chance to read through this whole thread before we go to. Lots of great information. :thumbsup2

Great thread! We made ADRs for Thanksgiving such a long time ago I had almost forgotten where they were. Its our first Thanksgiving at Disney as well - or for that matter, our first trip over the holidays, other than New Years. We're staying at SSR 11/20-11/25 (anyone know if they decorate?) cause we couldn't get our home resort (Boardwalk). Having T'giving dinner at Cape May. Looking forward to seeing the decorations!

I so want to go at this time of year sometime to see all the decor and festivities. Great thread - thanks for all the info and pics.

I love this thread! We are going Thanksgiving 2007. Have never been at that time of year. I can't wait to read all the reports from those of you going this November. We want to hear everything. Don't forget us. :wave2:

This will be our 2nd Turkey day with Mickey. This year we snagged reservations to LTT for Thanksgiving thanks to our travel agent. Last year though, we ate at (can't remember the exact name. . . ) The one in The Land in Epcot the one that revolves. . . can anyone think of the name? It was great because it's served family style with alot of choices. . .AND it's a character meal with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. We got ALOT of attention (there were 15 of us) and didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The only thing I didn't like was the pumpkin cheesecake. . but I'm not too much into pumpkin so I guess no matter where we eat I'll be out for the dessert that day!

We arrived last time on a Sunday (this year due to a discount we are actually ariving the previous Friday and going to our first MVMCP). Most of the week me and my daughters' wore what we call 'wife beaters' ( tank tops) with a jogging suit because it was warm when we needed it in the morning, we tied the jacket around our hips when it warmed up, and we had our jackets for the evenings when it got cooler (also many of the rides to me were chilly). The crowds were very manageable most of the week. The only day we really fought rides was on Thanksgiving and it was for Soarin. However, we found rides like (one of my FAVORITES at Epcot) the one with Figment you could walk right into (also later in the afternoon we walked right into Spaceship Earth.

We went with the ideal (and will this year also) to do all the riding we really want to do before Thursday and be happy with whatever we ride Thanksgiving. I KNOW most of the decororations we NOT up on that Sunday when we got there (at the CR) but SOME were but slowly during the week by Thanksgiving they were all up.

I can't wait to go! I have just about everything set...itinerary, ADRs, etc.

Tweaking our game plan a little, but that is about it.

This will be our first trip seeing everything all decorated! 11/18 can't get here soon enough!

We are arriving on 11/18 also. There are 10 of us so we are staying in a rental home. Like everyone else - I can't wait. My sons, their families and some friends - all ages from 1 to 59. :dance3:
