The good, the bad, the ugly....I want to know it

How was the location? The restuarants? The bus service? The noise level? The cleanliness? The space? The atmosphere?

Thanks in advance! :D

I love the coronado. It is my favorite moderate resort. Its very quiet. The Pepper market is wonderful and the grounds are gorgeous. I also love the main pool, so much fun.

Beautiful resort with great landscaping. Excellent bus service & housekeeping. Friendly CM's. We loved our very quiet ground floor rooms in both the Cabana & Rancho sections. There is just the two of us & we had plenty of room, especially with the king bed. Great themed pool & very nice quiet pool areas. We enjoy the food & drinks at the pool area. We haven't used the food court much, but what we've tried we have liked. El Centro can get pretty busy with conventioners in the evening-especially the bar area. We enjoy CSR very much & are staying there again in April!

Check out my CSR website for pics, links and info. CSR is a great resort with terrific transportation and the best pool of all the moderates.

We loved CSR too.

Centrally located to all the parks and the transportation is great.

Can't say enough good things about it. We would probably make that our main place to stay if we weren't buying into DVC.

We stayed there in 1999 and loved it. We've now stayed at Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans Riverside as well, and still, Coronado is our favorite. We loved the Pepper Market.......it had so many choices we never tired of them. We loved the pool and playground..........especially beautiful at night. We loved the lake, the way the resort is arranged around it. Our room was plenty big enough for 3 adults and 1 preschooler. We loved the dove scene in the main rotunda above the fountain.............and the other fountains we found throughout the resort...........the theming is just beautiful. Also, they use the 3 Amigos as their "icons" here, and we enjoyed introducing our son to that. We are still trying out resorts, but so far, this is our best one!

I love CSR. The resort is so peaceful and beautiful. The lake at night is so calming.

The Maya Grill has good food, I only ate there once but it was very nice. I LOVE the margaritta bar.

I thought the pepper market was okay. I am not a food court type person anyway so I'm not really the best to rate it.

I always had friendly staff and great service at CSR. Never had any troubles with the bus either. In fact one evening we were coming back from the parks and the only ones on the bus. Driver talked a bit to us and we explained we were going to CG that night and were very excited. We decided to take the bus to MK then the monorail to CG. I hadn't ridden the monorail since I was a kid and DH never had so we thought the view in the evening would be a nice treat. The same bus driver picked us up with pretty close to a full bus this time. He recognized us even though we had cleaned up a lot!!! He made a special stop just for us directly at CR. He announced to everyone on the bus he had to make a special stop for some special people. We didn't have a clue until he called out my DH's name! It was such a nice thing for him to do but sort of through me off since I didn't need the monorail. We rode it after dinner and then the rest of the week.

I also was a meeting planner for two shows my company did at CSR. I can not rave enough about the excellent convention services and the manager I worked with. She moved to GF and we went there for our last event. If not for her we would have done CSR again but I really wanted to stick with her and she got us an incredible rate at GF. If anyone does meetings and wants her name let me know!

I am curious about the meal tipping. Is this at both Pepper Market and Maya or only for a sit-down restaurant meal?

We were very impressed with our recent stay at CSR. I really enjoyed everything about this resort - beautiful grounds, nice rooms with hairdryers and coffee makers, great food court, good bus transportation and the Dig Site is the best.
