We decided to switch two days' itineraries around and now I can't get into Narcoossee's. *sniff* Citrico's, however, is available. Is it a must do for anyone? The menu doesn't appeal to me as much as Narcoossee's. Also, N's is pretty child-friendly in our experience - is Citrico's as well? Does Citrico's have a view of the lagoon? I can't remember where it is on the GF grounds.

I am gonna miss that almond cheesecake at Narcoossee's. *double sniff* Think they'd give me an order of it to go?

I can't tell you about Citrico's since I haven't been there in ages other than that it's right above the lobby (I think at least).

That does surprise me that you can't get in though, check with your concierge when you arrive to see if it's available. People are known to cancel, especially for dinner, everytime we've tried for Narcossee's, day of, it's been available. :confused3 A few times whe I 've tried a month ahead it has been booked, so you just never know.

I suspect that the glowing reviews it's received here on the disboards might have contributed to its popularity.

I am going to keep trying but we have a FDP booked that day that I will need to cancel so I should decide for sure if we'll be at GF restaurant that night or not.

Anyone like Citricos?

I really like Citricos, the food is good and the menu has some unique dishes. The gateau of crab was fantastic, honestly one of the best appetisers I've had anywhere.

The only thing I would say is there weren't many children there when we dined and it was quieter than Narcoosees, but i'm sure they're welcome.

Our family is going to Citricos for Thanksgiving. It was our #1 choice, favorite restaurant at Disney. Thankfully we got it, but not quite the hour we wanted.

It's better than good - it's one of the best restaurants on property. We're going to be dining at the Chef's Domain this Christmas. :goodvibes You won't be disappointed.

Thanks! I am feeling better. Is it definitely in the lobby of the GF main building?

Yes, it's on the 2nd floor, back by where the band plays, off to the left. It shares the hallway with Victoria & Albert's. There is an overhead sign that says, Citricos / Victoria & Albert's.

Citricos is good just ate there in April. Yes it's kid friendy.
It right next to V & A. As far as view it's not Lagoon view if my memory is correct but I wasn't sitting next to the window. You will have a nice dinner.

It's one of the best restaurants on property food and atmosphere wise, though it doesn't get the attention it deserves. Though maybe that's a good thing?

IMHO, Citrico's is much better than Narcoossee's. It is right there with California Grill, Artist Point, The Flying Fish, and The Blue Zoo. Great servers, excellent food, and a relaxed atmosphere.

We think that Citrico's is much better than Narcoossee's. The only restaurant we're really liked better is Artist Point. The menu has some wonderful items on it and the service is always wonderful. It always seems a little more low key and relaxed than many of the restaurants which is always nice at the end of a hectic day. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We've been very happy with Citricos every time we've been. It was better than California Grill the last time we went :)

I have written many reviews on Citrico's in the past and it is definitely one of the top restaurants on property.. Food is terrific, service is even better and we have always enjoyed our meal there. We will endeavor to go there in December with our whole family and I am sure will not be disappointed..

How about DH and I may go once a year or twice, may only eat there once and they remember us.....I know we tip well, but we are repeat customers and they remember us.....it is like coming home to eat there only with very fine dining and not a cookout.. ;) :)

I'll jump on the bandwaon ... Citricos is one of my family's favorites at WDW. The dining room is pleasant, the wait staff is terrific (among the best at WDW IMO) and the food routinely very, very good ... and the desert selections are terrific. We've been several times and have been most of the way around the menu between the four of us ... and never had a mediocre dish, much less a bad one.

I rank Citricos behind Cali Grill but not that far behind.

Citrico's is delicious. Better food than Narcoosee's, IMO. Warning, though, Citrico's is very noisy. Louder than Narcoosee's.
