Tell me all the reasons I should buy HH

I just purchased 65 points at HH. Thanks for all the feedback, HH is definitely the right choice for me. I need the priority booking, I love the Hilton Head area, and I need a break from all the hustle and bustle of life (and WDW!) at times. I can't wait to make my first trip "home" there this summer.

We're big HHI fans/advocates. The resort is very nice and relaxing. With the 11 month advantage, you have the opportunity to get studios or 1BR's. I'll be calling in a couple of weeks to book next Spring Break. See you there.

And don't be scared off about not being able to book WDW. If you are dedicated enough to call at 7 months out, you should be able to get in SSR or OKW. So far, were 3 for 3 on the smaller resorts.

Has anyone ever gotten 3-5 studio nights in the summer without owning there? I would like to try it, but it doesn't seem likely, does it?

Two years ago we got 2 weekend nights (Yikes!) right at the 7 month window. We waitlisted for 2 more nights either side of the weekend. By the time we traveled only one more came through. Obviously it's VERY difficult to get without owning there. If it didn't take so very long to travel there from where we live, I would be looking for a small resale myself. It is the most beautiful, relaxing place!

I bought Hilton Head sight unseen and was worried about all that people write here. I just got back from visiting for the first time and it was AWSOME! I loved it. I am so happy because I was having buyers remorse. If I could only go to HH that would be fine with me!

Okay, so I am on the verge of buying 80 pts for April UY at HH....remind me why I am doing this again.....I just need some affirmation that I am doing it for all the right reasons....

The right reason would be if you love the place and want to visit every year or two. (You could actually bank/borrow and use your points to get a larger unit every 2 to 3 years.)

For me another requirement would be that I want to stay at popular times of year. HH experts correct me if I'm wrong, but at less popular times of year you can use points from other resorts without a problem at 7 months. I think that would be better than trying to use HH points at WDW for an occasional trip there.

Don't buy if you prefer beachfront. You wouldn't be happy.

That's true and bout 4 months of the year any old II studio will get you a a 2 BR at DVC HH most of the year for a week as an exchange.
