Tell me all about POP - the good, the bad and everything in between!

I loved it there, we went in June & for the 2nd time a few weeks ago. My friends & I mainly use it for sleep though, we were there for Disney & the parks, we hardly spend any time in our rooms. If you plan to spend hours on end in your room, then it'll seem too small for your liking. We didn't find the rooms as small as many see them though. The food court is busy but you'll always be able to find seating, it'll never be an issue. My only gripe is actually HOW big the place is, it's not really a con but I'm a 23 year old girl and I wondered off at 1:30 am to get some air on my own on their trail (which is lovely though lol) and I ended up getting lost! I went so far around the trail & cut through certain sections just for the viewing that I actually couldn't find my building, I seriously walked frantically for about 45 minutes because since there was a bad storm early some of the lights were out and since it was my first day there, I wasnt familar w/ the grounds. But it worked out so perfectly (and magical for me I might add) because I met a guy who was doing the same as I was, he started talking to me & we joined our vacations & I had my little disney romance  So my #1 advice, if you go for a walk, stay on the trails until you're familar with the grounds, I know the idea of getting lost sounds dumb but it's a lot easier then you think....especially since our hotel was like the last room in the last building on the side. Just know your surroundings lol, you'll have a blast!

From what I can remember I dont think there was carpet in our room am I wrong for some reason Im thinking there wasnt. If there wasnt that was the thing I did not like.

Sarah

There's always been carpet in my rooms at Pop. :)

I didn't read all the replies, but I will be going to Pop in August it will be my 3rd time and each time I have stayed for 11 days. I previousy have stayed at the mods and my family and I like Pop better. We didn't think the rooms were that much smaller then the mods, but it is only the three of us. To be truthfull, other then the second sink we had in the mods, I didn't notice that much of a difference. How much are you actually in the rooms anyway.

This resort is so much fun and very nice to walk around. The lobby is huge and the food court and combined gift shop is awesome. There is also a game room and a pool bar. I forgot about the small lounge connected to the food court if you want to drink inside.

This resort is the best of the best. It does not feel like a value in any way. I highly recommed it and as you can see on my sig. I'm a Pop Century Lover.

We have stayed at the Pop twice. Once was for a 4 night stay and another was for a 7 night stay. After the 4 night stay, we were very impressed w/ Pop, and we really wanted to come back. Now, thee 7 night stay was a whole different story. The reasons we probably won't go back to Pop for a week stay:
1. The beds are very uncomfortable. It's doable for 4 nights, but after the 5th night, i was in pain.
2. The room size. If you pack for a week, there will be A LOT of luggage, and adding the stroller, it just felt cramped.

If it were not for these issues we would make the Pop our "home" resort. We will be returning for smaller trips though.
