desserts on the DDP! Can we have these "to-go" or must we eat them in the restaurants?

In Oct last year I was able to get my dessert to go. I do not know if it is still this way. I guess with everything else it will depend on the server. I hope we can still get it to go this next trip!

We took some back from The Rose & Crown. I can't see were that would be a problem, other than carrying it around!!

Last Sept my son and D-I-L took desserts to go from Le Cellier and also from Planet Hollywood. This past May my mom and I took dessert to go from the Maya Grill. We never had a problem.

We took all of our deserts to go last August. The servers were happy to do this - they get tipped on your total bill. Sometimes we ate them later at night, sometimes we ate them for breakfast. The only prblem is when you are not going back to your resort after your meal and you have to carry your desert around, especially in the heat!

We had dinner at LeCellier and asks for our desserts to go so we could go out and watch Illuminations. Our server packed them up with napkins and forks/spoons so we could sit outside and eat them while watching the fireworks.

If we were staying in the park for a long time we just opted not to get it. Too much of a pain to carry around.

If we were eating at a resort or leaving the parks after dinner we took them home with us.

At Le Cellier we got to have one of each dessert packed up and we enjoyed them sitting on our balcony at SSR.

I never have room for dessert so we took all of our desserts back to the room and we'd have them for breakfast we were there 10 nights...we went to Narcoossees, Yachtsman, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Concourse, CRT, LTT.... several great places!!! Of coarse we did the Chef Mickeys, Ohana and some others that we didn't take desserts from since they're buffets or family style... taking your desser is a great idea...they're delicious!!!

I don't see why you couldn't. We took the whole meal at Wolf Gang Express to~go a couple of times when just the girls were shopping and the guys stayed back at the resort
