Hello everyone, My name is Mistie and I was born in '76. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone... I like to pretend that I just turned 21 last night.)

I moved to Montana 19 years ago. I actually had a job, in an office, and I wore dresses and dress shoes. As the years have gone by, I got married and I quit my job to help my DH begin self-employment. We had 2 kids and moved from one office space to another. I kept telling my DH I wished he could work from home so we would not have to drive all over town. Over the years, he was beginning to feel some 'job burn out' and started downsizing things until he ended up working from home!

When the kids were little, we decided we would raise 2 cows for beef so the kids would not be eating the hormones and other goodies being reported in meat. 1 was for us, the other would be sold to offset the cost of feeding them. Well, that took off. He has a steady stream of customers for his home-grown beef and a good reputation in his occupation.

So, now, we work from home and I do his billing and clerical. I don't wear dress shoes anymore but I have a comfortable pair of steel-toed boots to work with the animals. Every once in awhile I miss wearing dresses, but not too often.

I refer to myself as Montana Blujeans.....'cause that's all most people here have ever seen me in.
