I just booked breakfast at the castle and I would like to know if it was a good decision. Let me know if you enjoyed the meal and the characters and if the price was worth it or not. This is our first trip to Disney with a 6yr old girl and a 2 yr old boy. Thanks!

We went in November 1999 with a 6-yr old princess princess: and a 4 year old pirate! pirate: and had a wonderful time. I don't recall the food being that memorable, but our daughter, who had every Disney Princess costume in her closet and was wearing her Disney Princesses jean jacket, was wide-eyed and thrilled every minute. Her favorite was Belle going in, but Cinderella gave her a kiss and that sent her over the edge. She's 13 now and still remembers that breakfast and all the details. My husband was smitten with Alice in Wonderland, and still thinks she liked him too! You will have a wonderful time, Enjoy.

We went this past Jan with DD3 and DS4 she was Sleeping Beauty and he was Prince Philip. It was magic!!! They first had their picture with Cinderella downstairs then we went up into the castle, how awesome!!!! We met Belle, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty--who called my DD her little sister and told my DS he was her handsome knight! I thought the food was fantastic, they brougth french toast sticks for the kids and this plate of food for adults-sausage, these cheesy potatoes(yum!), eggs, bacon, fruit cups, and this amazing bluberry cheese danish, wow! It was so great. Our server was totally in character-we asked for ketchup and he scoffed-'peasant sauce? ' Then my SIL was videotaping some stuff ans the server cam eup and narrated this whole monologue. Just fantastic! I loved it --the only thing my DD didn't like was all of the princesses kissed DS' cheeks, she was jealous! That's her brother, now they have to marry him she said! Hehe!

We did the lunch this past april-picture w/cindy came out beautiful!!!! The princesses were all in character especially Belle whom spoke in FRench to us! THe castle setting is so special and magical-we have many fond memories!! BTW, the lunch was fabulous-the major domos pie was to die for as well as the blueberry buckle dessert :cool1:

we did dinner 6/1/06 the food was great and service good. The grils loved the fariygodmother show and the interation with cinderall when we came in
I would go back again it was great all around

I think you picked the best meal to go. I like breakfast better than lunch food. I have a review of CRT for lunch here

If you have never dinned in the Castle, it is a must and very special. Remember you are there for the princesses, the food is just extra. But I really think you will like the food, the blueberry stuffed muffin thing they serve for Breakfast was so yummy. :goodvibes

I was sort of disappointed with it. The idea of eating in the castle was cool, I liked that, but that's where the good experience ended.

The wait to get into the restaurant (breakfast) was long. When we did get in, our waiter was rushed and kind of smug. I believe his name was John.

The food was just OK. My DD and her friend didn't care for it at all - but remember they were picky 14 year olds at the time. ;) So that was a big waste of money.

The restaurant's interior is very crammed and not too impressive, I was expecting something much more stunning. The restroom was totally outdated and tiny, with a very odd design.

Princesses each came by once, except for the Cinderella, who we had to flag down. Mary Poppins was also there.

I'm glad I did it, but unless they rehab the place, I'll pass on it in the future. :)

With a 6-year-old DD you have to go at least once. It is one of those experiences that is priceless. princess: Our character interaction (on probably one of the busiest days of the year) was great, there was no wait, we weren't rushed at all, service was good, and we enjoyed the food (breakfast) too.

We enjoyed our lunch experience so much last summer we are going back this time even though it's 2 TS's (it's free so, I guess that makes it easier...just one more CS). My DD8 wouldn't eat breakfast like eggs and pancakes unless my mom makes them and since my mom's not coming with and they wouldn't let her in the kitchen anyway, we chose lunch. That and I have an hard enough time paying the 1 TS credit at Donald's for eggs and pancakes (yes and a bit more), I couldn't do it for 2 TS credits. Even if the members of Duran Duran were the characters....wait no then I'd use 3 credits :rotfl: Anyway, we all enjoyed lunch DS12 loved the salmon, I loved the Major Domo pie and DS12's asparagus and my DD8 loved the chicken strips. It was a cool experience.
