I have had my ticker on here now for months but only booked on Thursday for a 10 night stay at POR :scared1: This is not like me at all. On previous trips I have had the next holiday all booked but not this time.
We have know DH's brother is getting married in Chicago since last year but due to the economic climate we have been dithering whther to just do Chicago or to add Disney on. Thank Goodness we have added the stay on and we are now inside our 90 days so I need to book the ADR'S pronto.
The problem is we now have a baby in tow (15 months on the trip) and I just don't know what ADR'S to book (this is teh first DDP we have done). We all love food of any variety and we have upgarded to TS on the DDP so please would you mind sharing all your ADR's so I can get some inspiration :worship: - me begging :rotfl:
We will be doing all the parks and will eat offsite at the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs and I am happy to do a table service restaurant during the day. I am also happy to use 2 credits for a character breakfast (we have done the CP and loved it at breakfast time).
Thank you all sooooooooooooooooo much

Great thanks Wayne. That will give me extra credits to play with. I have now the park opening hours and the list of all the restaurants but am a bit blown away by how many there are!

the list of all the restaurants but am a bit blown away by how many there are!

I printed the list off and put a line thru all we didn't want to eat at. Looked a long list to start but when I had done we struggled to find enough for 16 days. Ended up booking 2 character brekkies but we don't really eat in mornings. Also used 2 up at Cali grill, not sure its our sort of place but its somewhere I would never pay to goto.

Thanks for the tip Wayne. I will be doing the same tonight and hopefully with the help of the reviews on the DIS I will be able to book my ADR'S tomorrow. I was awake this morning at 4am thinking about them :rotfl:

My little ones love Chef Mickeys, buffet style and as you properly know children under 3 eat free @ buffets in Disney :thumbsup2

Tusker House @ animal kingdom for breakfast with Donald and friends, again similar food to Chef Mickeys, always nice to get an early ADR and get out for rope drop!

Crystal palace is also delicious. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, again this is buffet; can you see theme here!? I just like buffets as we don't have to wait for the food to come out. We have three boys and they can sometimes get impatient, don't know where they get it from ;)

I did the Dining Plan during my 2007 trip and cannot find any faults with it.

In the past we have dined at

CRT - Overrated considering its 2 credits but it was DD birthday and she loved it, once you have done it would not go again

California Grill - Without a doubt the highlight of our dining. Well worth 2 credits and amazing watching Wishes from the roof

Yachtman - A must if you dont mind using 2 credits (excellent steak and wine)

Boma - Have been twice and cannot see what the fuss is about - not going this year

Wispering Canyon - Again been twice but DD loves it so are going this year

Also been to Chef de France - would give this an average rating

Spoddles - again an average rating but a good place to go if you want to spend the evening at the Broadwalk

Chef Mickeys - love it!!!

Hollywood and Vine - Good if you can get the Fantasmic Package

Plant Hollywood - OK

Cap n Jacks - Better than Planet Hollywood as a place to use a credit at DTD

This year we are hoping for

Yachtsman
Wispering Canyon
Princess Breakfast in Norway
Le Cellier
Crystal Palace or Tonys
Mamma Melrose
Teppan Edo
California Grill

I have 2 more credits to use and am struggling..............

Great thanks guys for the suggestions. I also love buffets as we have 2 boys who love their food so Chef Mickeys is on the list for this year and maybe CP even though we have done it before.
We have also done Boma but won't be doing it again this year. I will have a good look through this list later as loads of great restaurants listed with reviews - thank you :worship:

We loved Planet Hollywood and have booked for it again.
California Grill - got in 9.30pm so should be a great time to watch fireworks at MK.
Chef Mickeys - frantic fun, kids loved it, booked it twice for this year.
Sci-Fi dine in - kids loved sitting in cars watching movies while eating so booked it again!
Also trying for the first time San Angel at Mexico, Epcot, Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef, Boma and 50's Prime Time.

The Sci Fi Diner, I saw that on a TR on the US boards and it looked fab, the milkshakes look delicious

This will be our third trip using the dining plan and it works for us.

We are going this August:

Tuttu Italia
Jiko
Yatchmans Steakhouse
Grand Floridian Cafe
Sanaa
Cape May
Flying Fish

Phew after 45 minutes on the phone (in total) I am all booked for the following;
Crystal Palace for lunch
Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner
Coral Reef for lunch
Donalds Safari for breakfast
Sci Fi for lunch
Kona Cafe for breakfast
Cap N Jacks for dinner

We couldn't get Chef Mickey's so we will save this one for another trip when I will be more organised and will book at 90 days ;)

I still have 3 more to book but have no idea which ones to book now :rolleyes
