Tell me about Yankee Candles please

Wow! And I thought the fact that I'm still burning my Christmas Cookie jar after two years was good:rotfl:

Here'e another tip for you....

if you find a scent you like and then it's retired but you can still get samplers (votives) then you can also use these as tarts..... pop a knife under the metal button at the base of the sampler and prise it away from the candle, pull out the wick totally and then cut the candle lengthways in half, you can now use this as a tart.

We have some fragrances that are retired and certain wax forms always sell out before others so it's always good to know that you can do this.

I tend to use large jars a lot, but I don't always burn them all in one go, I have got a few at home that I can choose between dependant on my mood, I have a Happy Christmas jar that I have been burning for the last 3 years! :)

A lot of people do this. They also do this is they have a jar candle that breaks or something like that. But you do want to be careful of course. You don't want to put too much wax in your tart burner that it overflows. Tarts are also made differently that votives and jars so for that reason just keep and eye on them. Also, never use scented tealights in your tart burners. The flames and hotter because of the oils and they can shatter your tart burner.

A quick tip about the jars, you're not supposed to burn them when there is only an inch of wax left. There's a huge risk of them shattering. It's easiest to stop burning them when they reach the bottom of the label. :goodvibes
