Can anyone tell me about wolfgang puck cafe? I plan on heading there after AK, can we wear what we wear to the parks? Anyone have any pictures? How about t he food? It sounds really good.

It's great - the dress code there is really all over the place so I think you'll be find heading there after a day at the park. Here's my review from when DH and I went in May....Have fun!!

Monday dinner - Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We had eaten here before and it was excellent this time as well. We shared the crab cakes and calamari. DH had the chicken/pancetta fettuccine which he said was very good and not too heavy. I had the grouper special w/mashed potatoes. We had the white chocolate cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert. My key lime pie was probably the best I have ever had!!

We were just there and really loved it. I saw people in all types of wear.

Be warned, it is really loud, and we had ADR's for 9:30 so it was a little empty by the time we left and it was still loud. But we didn't mind.

The food was wonderful, the DH had steak, I have ravioli, the DBIL had the Sushi. The desserts were also great, but it seems every dessert at every Disney restaurant is! The spinach cheese dip was very good on the flat bread. We also liked the bread that came with the meal. It was different types so you had a choice. Oh, and I had the Ceasar Salad for my appetizer. That was the best Ceasar I had ever had, my DH enjoyed it also.

Can't wait to go back to the World and this is one restaurant we will go back to!

My father had the ravioli, he said it was fantastic. My pasta was amazing! We are definitely going again this year.

When we dined there in June we thought it was just ok....nothing spectacular. It was extremely loud - we kept laughing b/c we were yelling to each other just to be heard!! But, we were at a large round table right near the display cases and stairs. IMHO, it was probably not a place I would return to with all the other selections for Disney dining! ;)

Oh....you will be fine with what you wore to the parks. We saw everything from shorts and t-shirts to dresses and dress pants.

Wolfgangs is great. It was our favorite meal on our trip last May. It seems like most people were wearing park clothes. I don't remember anyone being dressed up, but I also don't recall seeing anyone in a tank top.

I have to agree with everyone else, it is LOUD. Other than restaurants where there are activities going on (Ohana, WCC), WPC is probably the loudest restaurant I have ever been to.

That is one of the two restaurants (the other one is Boma) we HAVE to do again next trip!!!! My picky boyfriend insisted on it!!!

When we got there, I saw fried calamari on the menu and I just HAD to have it...well they were out! But I LOVE fried Calamari... :sad2: And then I asked for crab cakes...and they were out... :sad2: I was about to walk out, but we were hungry so we ate there anyways, and I was SOOOOOOO not enthusiastic... but it was AMAZING!!!!! :cloud9:

So BEWARE if you are eating there at 9h30 at night!!!!! They seem to run out of stuff (they were out of 2 kinds of creme brulée as well), but the food is REALLY good!!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOO trying out the fried calamari in October... Our ADR is for 7h30 so I should be ok...

I couldn't say enough wonderful things about it! The food was absolutely delicious but more than that the service was outstanding! Our server asked if anyone has any food allergies, and I have a few, she asked what they were and made a couple of suggestions. I ordered the meatloaf. The chef came out to our table from the kitchen to tell me personally that the meatloaf has an ingredient I'm allergic to and apologized that it was not listed on the menu. We could not believe he took the time to really consider what I ordered, look at what I was allergic to, and to come out personally and help me find another choice - that was above and beyond the call of duty in my book :thumbsup2 Everyone loved what they got, including me. We'll definitely go back! (Oh, we were wearing shorts and tank tops and some folks were in dresses and dress slacks, so there isn't a dress code).
