Tell me about WDW in Jan??

When you guys say "MLK week" do you mean the week leading up to the long weekend, or the week that immediately follows the Monday of MLK day?

The week following the Monday of MLK is the week we went and it was very crowded. From the WDW sites we looked at and my research, we should have believed them when they said it would be crowded!

Alot of people have obviously started trying to go during the value season and tell the schools to get over it...we homeschool so I am always up for a trip during the school year...it just will NEVER include a week with a national holiday again!

We are going Jan 10-17 and I was really looking forward to low crowds however ALOT of the resorts are sold out for our dates so who knows how it will be now

If anything it shouldnt be as crowded as the summer months...but I am definitely expecting more people b/c of the deal that is going on.


Oh well, no biggie, I have been to amusement parks where it was normal to wait 1 hour at the least for a ride.

We will be there Jan 21-25 and am looking forward to cooler weather and no crowds!
