Tell me about using Flock

Hope has really used this stuff.
I've only seen what she did with it.
She used it to make the fur on Sully - the blue background and purple spots were flocked.

Hopefully she will see this thread and tell us about it. Maybe even do a tutorial.

I love flock! I have used it on a flower to make it fuzzy, on a puppy dog to make him furry. I plan to use it on a spider when I get around to Halloween. Yesterday I put it on a pillow that I cut out for DD's chore chart (it was a visual reminder to make her bed). I just use a fine tip glue pen to put it on little areas. I really haven't used it in big areas, so I am not sure which glue I would use for the bigger projects. It is so much fun to use.

Hmmm. Didn't know I was sitting on a goldmine. For half the price Doodlebug charges you, I can send you gallon size bags of "flock" - as long as you don't mind orangey brown.

You've just assured me I'll never use flock now - I spend half my life removing short cat hair from my scrapbooking area. I'm not about to go out and buy it!

It's consistency is almost like cotton candy (but not sticky ). And I haven't seen any with glitter, but I am so there if there is such a thing.

Holly, you are too funny. I have bought it at Archivers- the flock there is called Fun Flock. I saw a pack of all the Doodlebug colors in tiny vials at Archivers too, but I needed a coupon. Let me know if anybody needs to me to run there and get some. It would be a sacrifice lmao: ) to go back in there, but I am willing to do it for my DIS family.
