Tell me about using DVC to go to Hawaii

As that incredibly-slow-moving counter below shows, we are heading to Hawaii and Kapalua Bay in a couple of days. We'll post a report when we get back. We stay in Oahu first (Hilton Hawaiian Village- cash, not points), then will be at Kapalua 4/27 through 5/1.

As you can see I am SO jealous that you are going to the Kapalua Bay. Points are high but sometimes in life you just have to be a little lavish and just spoil yourself. We didn't like the first room we were assigned and politely asked for another. We were given a fabulous, huge room with a bathroom as big as many hotel rooms and a wonderful view. The KB feels so Hawaii! Enjoy, enjoy!
