I'm clueless who gets tips and how much?? Trying to figure that into our budget. Thank you

  • The $12 per person per day is divided between your server, assistant server, head server, and room host. You may add additional money if you feel it's appropriate.
  • Bar drinks and spa treatments include an automatic 18% gratuity though you may opt to add more.
Those two will be charged to your room account.
  • Room service is included, but most people tip in cash.
  • Kids club workers cannot accept tips but some bring additional treats like candy and magazines.

Your onboard account will be charged (for each person in your room) $12.00 per day. That $12.00 breaks out to $4.00 per person per day to your room host; $4.00 per person per day to your dining room server; $3.00 per person per day to your assistant server; and $1.00 per person per day to your head server. If you wish them to get more, you can either go to Guest Services and up the amount charged each day (and designate who it's for) OR you can add cash to the tip envelope you get at the end of the cruise for distribution to those receiving them.

Beverage purchases have an automatic 15% gratuity added, and spa services have an automatic 18% gratuity added.

As noted, room service is not included in the auto gratuity, and you can tip in cash at the time of delivery.
