Looking at both Tutto Italia and Coral Reef for dinner. Which one would be best for young kids (DD6, DS3.5)? They are both 1 TS credit, right?

I see there's chicken on the kids menu at Coral Reef...correct? That would cover them (3 of us aren't seafood eaters).

Looking for the best food AND the best experience (already have Teppan Edo b/c I thought they'd find that fun).

THANKS!

Well so much for that. Feeling very blue today. Disney has nothing available for 12/7 or 12/8 dinners...not sure what to do now. The lady acted like I was super picky, but the times she was suggesting were like 8:15pm! Great if it were just adults, but I have two little kids! UGH. Not sure what to do now....

My daughters really enjoyed Coral Reef when we were seated near the aquarium windows. They watched everything the entire time.

We went back another time, but were seated in the back. It really didn't keep their interest that time.

However, the food was wonderful and my wife and I really liked it.

We also enjoy taking the kids to Whispering Canyon Cafe (and it's easy to get ADRs at!) The food is good and they always enjoy the "entertainment" provided by the servers.

Keep calling to get those reservations. (It took me a dozen calls, but we got our Le Cellier reservation!) Good luck!

Thanks. I have sort of been steering away from restaurants in resorts, simply because it seems like a lot of time wasted in traveling around (we will be using Disney transportation). What are others' thoughts on that? I just looked up Whispering Canyon Cafe and the menu looks wonderful...but how long would it take to travel there and back (we're staying at Yacht Club) by bus??

I would say Coral Reef, just for the ambiance.. You might also want to try one of the restaurants at the Beach Club or Yacht Club, just for convenience, if you can't get anything in Epcot.

I just wanted to chime in and say you're going to l-o-v-e the YC! We're looking forward to our 3rd stay there this coming January.

For our dinners (we have a DS5 and DS7), we're doing Coral Reef, Mama Melrose, Chef Mickey's, Marrakesh, and LeCellier. Have you tried Biergarten before? We did that last trip and the boys enjoyed it. That would be close to the YC. And if all else fails, you could go to Beaches and Cream at the BC, or Cape May Cafe.
