From what I have read, I think my kids (DS - age 5 and DD - age 3) would love the Wonderland Tea Party!!! Tell me about your experiences -- Did your children enjoy? What characters are there? Do parents get to go in to get them settled before leaving? Can we take pictures? I need all the details as you can see! Any help would be appreciated! I love these boards -- I'm learning so much!

My 5 year old did this in December. She had a good time. It was the Mad Hatter and Alice.

I walked her to her seat and then we had to leave.

You cannot be in the room while it's going on so we gave our DD a disposible camera because (at that time) they were NOT taking pictures for you (but I have since heard that they do provide a photo again); Be on the safe side and send in a camera.

The CM's took the pictures for our DD with both characters.

They had apple juice and decorated a cupcake and I think had sandwiches (PB&J, I think).

All in all, it was a fun experience for our DD. They also came out with flowers for the mothers too!

My 4-yr old DD had a blast. We were able to go in to get her seated and take some pictures, then they hustle the parents out. They make a big deal with the kids that it is just for them. When some of us were trying to catch a glimpse of the activities through the door, the Mad Hatter counted to three and they all shouted together "No peaking!!!"

When I went back to pick her up, we peaked in and the place was empty. The Mad Hatter had them sneaking around on the floor so we couldn't see them. The kids all had a great time.

I would agree with the previous posters. My dd, then just turned 8, loved the Tea Party. She and her friend, also just 8, had nothing but good things to say. They took some very 'creative' photos. And the helpers took photos of the girls and Alice and the Mad Hatter. I would say your kids would love it too.

Okay... none of you has said anything about your DS's attending the Wonderland Tea Party. Should I not have made ressies for my 5-year old DS? Is he too old? Is it just a "girl" thing?

O.K... where is the Wonderland Tea Party at?? I've been riddled with guilt because I didn't get any Cinderellas Table, or Princess Breakfast. Have two girls aged 4 and 3. What's the deal on this tea party.

Any info very helpful... thanks:p

The Wonderland Tea Party is at the Grand Floridian. It lasts for one hour (1:30 - 2:30 pm) and is only for kids aged 3 - 10. They decorate a cupcake, have snacks (pbj sandwiches) and tea (apple juice). Parents are not allowed. Just for kids! Around $25 per child.

I just booked a PS today for my 2 kids for Tues., Dec. 3! It sounds like great fun to me!

Thanks gusmydog for the info. Sounds really fun! Just afraid my 3 year old want to go in without 'mommy'.

gusmydog- When my daughter did it, there were a number of boys there, who seemed to have just as much fun. I don't think anything they do is "girly." It's kid stuff.

There were also boys when we were there too. Not 8-9 y/os but younger. They seemed to have had fun too.
