Tell Me About The Tusker House Breakfast...

I just booked an ADR for the breakfast buffet at Tusker House, and we've never eaten there before. Is it good? Do they serve anything to drink besides milk (that's all I see on the menu)? How was the character interaction? Was it crazy busy?

We were just there 2 weeks ago tomorrow. We had a great time. The food was good (although a couple of things weren't really as warm as they should have been) and there was some interesting things to try that turned out really good. I love trying new things! All the breakfast basics were there too and tasted really fresh and yummy.
They also serve juice which is really very good. It's a mango, guava, passion fruit combo that I think they call Jungle Juice, you can obviously get coffee too.
The character interaction was very good. The characters there were Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Daisy.

thanks so much! great review and i love the pictures! i think they serve a similar juice combo at the ohana breakfast, which DD & DH weren't very fond of, but maybe if i don't tell them it'll be ok, lol. your daughters are too cute!

We ate there last Sept. We thought the food and characters were great. It was fairly hectic and loud, but I guess that's normal with a character buffet.

we ate there a year ago. We won't go back. You should give it a try. We really liked the atmosphere. The service was bad but possible an isolated incident. The characters weren't as good as other places. The food was ok except for a few items.

We didn't care for the juice but they will bring you pretty much what you want such as : cokes, coffee, and milk.

thanks everyone! i'm sorry your experience was less than great, belle, but it's a relief to know they'll bring DH a coke if he wants one-he's not a big breakfast person.

I really loved this breakfast, the carved ham was delicious! We also had excellent service there.

A good tip for buffet meals is to ask for the check as soon as you sit down. This way you can just leave when you are done eating without having to wait around for the check.

I was there last week. Great experience all around and a great variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The characters were fabulous as well. Try to get an early reservation if your family is up for it. It's nice to walk through AK when it is still very early and there are few guests around.
