I was on a thread o'er at the Restaurant board and someone suggested watching Wishes from the Train Station.

We have never been in the train station  Tell me more!

This will be our third family trip...and I would love to find some 'new' magic :hyper:

Well it would be the front porch of the train station (that looks towards the castle). In order to be able to see Wishes from up there (unobstructed) you would need to be in the middle section up by the railing, if you get off to the sides to much you miss some of the fireworks that are coming from the buildings, if you are further back from the railing, the roof line gets in the way. This is a great place to watch Spectro and Wishes however you have to have a lot of patience. In order to get this location you would need to be there an hour and a half to 2 hours before the parade starts (if there is no parade then about an hour to an hour and a half before fireworks)... this is a very popular location. When we sit there we usually go get hot dogs and sodas from Casey's and then take up camp... there are chairs so it is actually very nice, but like I said you have to be prepared to stake your claim early...

Depends upon time of year, I think (re: staking an early claim). Last Tuesday, my dd's bday, we got to the train station at 6:50 or so and had no problem finding a spot where the girls could see Wishes just fine. In the off season, it seems only necessary to sit around for 1-2 hours unobstructed view of something, say for pictures or video.
