I have a reservation set up for dinner at Cape May Cafe and the only reason I haven't cancelled it is that I want to try the Oreo Bon Bons.

Is it worth it?

The food at Cape May is great, but the oreo bon bon is always the first thing on my plate.

Definitely yummy! Oh how I miss Cape May, I must get there next time!

This is hysterical! We've eaten there three or four different times and have been way too full for desserts! Now I HAVE to put some desserts on my plate first!!!!:rotfl2:

Yeah I want to know if they are at breakfast too! Also, is Mickey at breakfast?

We have done the cape may clam bake twice. It is good, solid food IMO. My kids really enjoyed it and so did we! Ia do loved the Oreo bonbons (unlike the zebra domes at Boma, which didn't really do it for me). Is there anywhere else on property you can get the Oreo bonbons? :confused3 We will be there next week and we won't be eating at Cape May this time!

We always go to the clam bake as it is my husband's favorite. Oreo BonBon's are ok, but I prefer the key lime tarts and cheesecakes. Also, they were making fresh chocolate molten lava cake desserts last fall when we were there and that was way better than the Oreo BonBons IMHO. If you are not too excited about the meal, I don't think the Bon Bons are worth it. But it is pretty basic, although tasty food. Which can be nice after a bunch of really rich, highly seasoned food.

If the bon bons are the only reason you are going to the clambake I would skip it..while they are good they would not be my reason for going

But I will tell you the entire clambake is awesome so if you think you will like the dinner foods I say go for it

I thought the Oreo bonbons were crazy sweet. A little "too much" for me! I'm more of a chocolate mousse kinda girl;) With that being said, I think the whole buffet rocks!! Loved it!

I'm one who usually skips dessert, but I've heard a lot about these. I will make sure to try them when we go.

Totally agree. If you don't like what's on the buffet but just like the sound of the bonbons, they're good but its not worth it if this is your ONLY reason for doing Cape May (as you said.)

Just for those wondering what they taste like, its an oreo w/ an oreo cheesecake topping coated in chocolate or something. Very sweet but very good - if you love cookies & cream icecream, you will adore them!
