I took the kids (Tweens) to see it just once. They walked out saying 'what's the point of that?' sort of comments. Then dd14 looks at me and says 'this may be a dumb question but was that a real person or a video' I smiled and said 'THIS is why the show is worth seeing' you have the chance to sneak peak a television technology that will one day leave us asking 'is that baseball player in our living room or are we just watching it on TV?'
So, my vote is substance=NO
technology=YES
I agree. Did it with my son back in Feb. In that regard, it was pretty cool. Other than that, it was meh. We were given a "paper" with a return time (not one of the FP- type) and showed up 5 minutes before. I would not wait to see it, but if you time your return, it would be a nice break from the heat this summer.
