Anyone have pics/info about the garden grill??? IS it family style or do you just choose one entree? Is lunch or dinner better? I would love to see pics if anyone has any to post! Any info is appreciated!!! :teeth:

We were there for our son's 1st birthday (lunch) and enjoyed it so much that we have ADR (lunch, again)there next month for our son's 3rd birthday. The food was very good......all served family style. The best part about celebrating a birthday here is that they give you a birthday cake.......free (a small white cake with a mickey disc on top....it fed our group of 4 adults and 2 children with some left over)! Mickey and Chip & Dale came by to say hello. Lots of fun!!

When we ate there last April it wasn't family style. They brought out bread and assorted dips for an appetizer, then each person picks an entree, and for desert they bring out various treats (fruit, rice krispie treats, marshmellows) with a warm chocolate sauce for dipping.

The food was good, not great, but good. Character interaction was excellent, they made it around at least four times each. Characters were Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We really liked the place when we went in September. The kids loved how the resturant rotates very slowly, and it overlooks the ride living with the land. The food is served family style, and the character interaction was excellent! We will be going back next year for sure!

Just looked at the menu on allears.net. It looks like the menu has changed since we were there in April and that it is served family style now. Sorry for the outdated information.

We ate there for the first time in December and loved it! The only real difference between lunch and dinner is that dinner comes with salad. I loved the salad dressing. The cat fish was my favorite part of the main course. Also, the desserts were wonderful...the pecan pie type dessert bar was my favorite. Kids get a choice of meals from the kids menu and a very cute "decorate your own" cupcake.

We ate there last August and again last week. It's become one of our boys' favorite meals on our trips. The character interaction is always the best of any of the character meals we do (we usually do 4 -6 per trip).

everytime we go to DisneyWorld. I was very nervous and probably was not going to go when they switched around the menu and style this past year but thankfully they went back to the good old ways of family style service and mostly the same type of food.

Additionally - Character interaction is great and for the price, it really is a good value (for a Disney restaurant). When we go in February this will be our first TS restaurant as it really does set the mood and pace for the rest of the trip.

Excellent excellent excellent! We first went there about 5 yrs ago when it was family style. Then I heard they changed the menu to menu ordering and it looked like they were trying to go more upscale with it and we were very sad. Now they are back to the (updated!) original family style and it is GREAT! Wonderful view always changes with the rotation of the restaurant. Characters were very kind to our two kids. We tend to book late lunches because a full meal at 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon lasts us until after the parks close. And lunches are usually cheaper than dinners. The dessert is gorgeous - we had a whipped cream mound surrounded by a lemon bar, a pecan bar, a fudgy brownie, and a chocolate cake with strawberry or raspberry sauce. Plenty for the four of us without a doubt. My son had a vanilla cupcake with little cups of decorations including mickey shaped candy "jimmies"! And they would have brought more of anything we wanted including the desserts! Yummy breads too. It is definitely a must-do in our book! party:

We have eaten at Garden Grill twice and have ADR ready for March. It is one of my favorite places to eat. The salad and bread are great and the family style main course is wonderful. The sad thing is that we are usually so full by the time the desert comes out, that we don't eat all of it.

It is a great place. Can't wait to go back. :thumbsup2
