We had a nice time -- crowds were relatively light and the weather wonderful.
The booths set up around the World Showcase were interesting, but a lot of it was obviously "fast" food, prepared in advance. But you can find some great nibblers and samples of new and unusual foods, at great prices -- usually one or two dollars a serving for a sample. You could literally eat your way around the world
That said...we were there for a full week, and the menus never changed, so it got sorta predictable.
A highlight, thought, was the big food tasting in the international pavillion. (We had to pay extra, but I'm not sure how much...) You got a complimentary wine glass (yours to keep as a souvenir) and could sample wines all night, and stroll around from table to table, trying out exotic foods from Disney restaurants, and other places, too. You collect the food on tiny china plates, head over to a "standing" table to graze, finish it off, then head back to the floor for more. You could eat yourself silly (I know I did!) While we dined, the "living statues" entertained at various points around the hall, and "De Vine" strolled around on stilts. Very cool. Some great photo ops

!!
I don't know that we'd do the festival again, but it was fun to see and try.
FWIW: Try to hit the booths around the WS at off hours, because the lines can get LOOONG.
Bon appetite!
