Tell me about the Earl of Sandwich...

Can anybody confirm that you can order your sandwich cold? There are reports of both in this thread.

Since our bread is partially baked, it needs to go through the oven to finish baking. You can ask the manager to put the ingredients after the bread goes through the oven so they are not melted. Hope this helps.

We also love EOS. But I'm not sure how good they would be cold.

Another option would be to get salad plates from your hotel food court. I think they are always available and would travel well. My brother and sister-in-law did this to use up credits the day we left on our last trip and boy were we jealous on the plane. We had used up our credits for snacks oniy. We definately plan on doing this for our upcoming trip.

We normally get EOS to go and eat in the car later.. We go by DTD and have breakfast at WGPE and then swing by EOS to order our sandwhiches to go and they have always been good even cold..

We have tried Hawaiin BBQ, Earl Club, BLT, Original all kept fine!

I am sure when you get there your answer from the server may differ...isn't that always the case. But I find it odd, if it was an option that it has never been offered when I ask if the sandwich needs to be toasted.

Earl of Sandwich is TERRIFIC and their prices are very reasonable i think. ive enjoyed a few different sandwiches as well as their soups are very good! i could probably eat there every day of my trip .. but there are so many good places around WDW!

Odd that people have been able to get untoasted sandwiches. Every time I have asked they have said no due to the bread needing to go through the toaster to finish baking

I won't eat the caprese sandwich toasted (I don't want the cheese melted) so I know they've given it to me untoasted. They might have run the bread through but they will if you ask refrain from toasting the fillings.
