Tell me about the bagels at BW Bakery, please...

So I just realized that they offer bagels and cream cheese at BW Bakery, and it looks like for a snack credit.

What can you tell me about the bagels? I assume they're fresh bagels? Can you tell me anything about what flavors are offered? What about the cream cheese? Is it already spread on the bagel? If not, does it come in something like a small Philadelphia Cream Cheese single-serve container? Or is it something like a special on-site prepared cream cheese and they put it in a small container? Are they very good?

Seems like a lot of questions, but we'll be staying at BCV. It seems like it would be a nice short walk in the late afternoon or evening to go over there and pick up bagels for breakfast the next morning.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news I have never encountered a fresh bagel while in WDW. They are chewy & stale tasting & will be in serious need of toasting to become edible.

Usual flavors will be plain, onion and sometimes sesame or poppy. I don't recall ever seeing flavored cream cheese. There will be individual tubs of plain available.

There is lox and traditional accompaniments available at the breakfast buffets. Starring Rolls used to have a Smoked Salmon breakfast platter but I believe it has been done away with (that or it has simply been sold out by the time we got there the last few trips).

If you find a good bagel please let me know!

I have found great everything bagels at the mod and value food courts, they were very good and the CL lounges that we have stayed in had yummy cinnamon raisin ones but they are not like NY bagels, more like the frozen variety and they only have plain cream cheese

They sure dont taste like NY bagels! Try a pastry or something else instead.
