Dh and I stayed in a newly refuburbished in the Calypso building last September. (2006).

We really enjoyed he new decor and the privacy curtain by the vanity.
music is the only Vaule resort so far that has the privacy curtain. The mods also have the curtain.(I am hoping Sports will also get them .They just started refubishing all of the rooms at Sports and are slated to be finished Feb. 2008)

Here is a website with photos of the newly refurbished rooms at All Star Music.

Look at the Jazz Inn section with new posted:

All Star Music is my favorite Disney owned hotel.

Please see my info thread for more of the reasons why I enjoy All Star Music so much.

Another fan of the Music here! It is my families favorite resort! We just got back July 19th from a 9 night stay and it was wonderful!

The refurbished rooms look amazing, very clean classy with some nice amenities. The privacy curtain, pegs for hats/jackets etc....Lots of fun stuff at the pool area now. Games during the afternoon and movies at night on a large blow up screen.

The bus system is great. The Music has their own busses while Movies and Sports share....we never waited more than a couple minutes for one and that has been true of all our stays there. Food court is very good. A few more healthy choices than there were before, and we have never had a bad meal there.

Check in/out has always been a breeze for us. Usualy we are checking in around noon and there is hardly anyone there and check out is very simple. We also used the boarding pass/luggage check-in for the first time at the resort. What a wonderful thing that it!

Any other specific questions?

We will be at the Music Oct 3-7. We booked the Pop but saved some money to move to the Music. We have not been to the music in 10 years. Have all the rooms been redone or is it just some of them? I didn't request any building because will won't be at the resort that much. I like the pictures I see but I just wanted to know if it is all the rooms!

Thanks

Thanks for the information. We have stayed at the Pop twice and really enjoyed it. We have been to all three all stars but it has been a while. We are looking forward to the Music. My DH is really into music. We just booked the Pop originally because it was the last one we had visited and it was the newest.

We'll be staying at ASMu next month for the first time and I'll be sure to write a review as soon as we return. This will be our first stay in a value, but since the rooms are recently refurbished and the resort is supposedly the most quiet of the values, we thought we'd give it a try. We don't plan on spending much time there, anyway.

we love music, even on the busiest MK nights, the line for Music resort, was one of, if not the shortest line of all the resorts.

Cannot wait to get there next month
