Tell me about Teppan Edo on the Basic Plan

Ok, we scored free dining for our already planned trip in November. We'd left Teppan Edo off the list because it's rather expensive and frankly looks to be almost identical to what we can get here at home. BUT...now that I have free meals, lol......I'm considering adding this just because Teppan is always a fun show with the meal and Disney is all about having fun.

But....looking at the menu I'm trying to figure out just what is included.....basic dining TS is supposed to be "entree, dessert, drink". But can you get a combo (steak and shrimp)????

Combos are included. I got the chicken/steak combo and DH got the shrimp/steak combo.

It was the best meal of our last trip.

Well, I made my ADR for Teppan Edo.....but even with the dining plan I think this is going to be an expensive meal....we love sushi and Edamame and Tempura....so I just know we're going to all have appetizers, lol.

In fact, I'm making a mental note for next time if we're not on the dining plan.....to just make an ADR for appetizers, lol. We're actually considering doing this at Yak & Yeti.....get potstickers, Dim sum basket, lettuce cups, and green beans and call it a meal, lol. The kids would want the Sweet & Sour or Honey Chicken entrees, which you can get for much cheaper at the CS next door. Me, I typically enjoy DimSum so appetizers at an Asian restaurant are my standard if it's not DimSum hours.
