Tell me about Shades of Green Restaurants

I'm looking over menus and getting ready to make our ADRs. I noticed how reasonably priced the dinner buffet is at The Garden Gallery at Shades of Green. Has anyone eaten there? Do you have to be staying there, or be military, to eat there?

I think you have to be military, or have a military sponsor to eat there. IIRC, you have to have an ID to get on SoG, also. You may be able to get a pass, but I believe it is an Army installation, and they usually require military ID's.

Also, WRT the food, you get what you pay for. I would not go out of my way to eat there. If you are looking for a cheap meal, you are better off leaving DW altogether and eating in town.

We have dined there and it was disgusting. I would not go out of my way to dine there. The resort itself is nice, just not the food.
