It's really the only place I buy them from, so I have no point of reference. I love their stuff though. I have a lot of them

I buy files for my wishblade- there would have to be quite a few for me to spend 5.99 on my files. I buy most of mine from: http://www.visualdesignsbychris.com/store/home.php

Most of the sellers there offer the files in all of the formats. I generally wait until there is a sale or I need a file before buying it these days. Also most of the designers at the above address offer a free file on their blogs weekly.

I actually have bought from VDBC too. There are lots of files on there.

The SVG ones are more like kits and they always have a giveaway (spend $9.98 and get a free file). I won a contest on there once too.

The version 2 is just different enough from version 1 to make me look silly.

I won't tell you how long it took me to figure out how to change the font.

Thankfully mycutiepatooties was way too polite to tell me that I need to go get myself a tutorial before I start thinking I can show others.

I did have some things from other swaps that I made with the version 1 to at least give her an idea of what it can do.

Could someone please repost the websites that offer free svg files?

I got an email from CraftEdge and got the coupon code problem worked out - so this morning, I downloaded the Version 2 for my Mac and can't wait to start playing with it! Maybe over the weekend...?

I haven't been lucky enough to win one of the svgcuts.com contests yet - but keep trying! When I buy from there, it is usually when they have their "spend 9.95 and get x free" type of promotions, but I have bought a few 5.99 sets on their own if I needed the files for a swap or a layout. I love their castle and used that on my first swap - the Disney ABC one hosted by Rebecca. I really like the look and style of their images - they fit with my scrapping style pretty well.
