tell me about Saratoga Springs

We just started looking into buying DVC again- but I haven't heard of Saratoga Springs. Please tell me everything you know about it! Thank you!

Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa will be where the Disney Institute was formerly located. It will be convenient to DD and will have a themed pool, Studio, 1BR, 2BR and GV accommodations. It will reportedly open in 2004.

Not much other information is currently available. The old DI buildings have recently been torn down and construction has begun on the site for SSR. There are a few artist renderings available, but no real details yet about interior design.

There is no official information about presales, pricing or even if it will be "officially" part of DVC as yet.

Well, right now the real Saratoga Springs is buried in snow. Not sure how Disney will replicate this.

When is April vacation? I need some sun dreams after all of this Saratoga Springs snow! Please tell me they are leaving the snow out?

I took a DVC tour last friday and my guide did confirm that the Saratoga Springs will definitely be a DVC resort as BCV is 70% sold already. DVC needs something to sell from 2004 to 2006 since Eagle Pines will not be ready until 2006.

The real question is IF it's going to be. It would be over by the golf course essentially at the end of Bonnet Creek Parkway just before the guard house going the back way to WLV from OKW.
