Tell me about pin codes please

We've been to Disney twice and both times were unaware there were special offers/discounts available (although, I did ask the cm while on the phone if they were running any specials--of course, I knew what the answer would be). Anyway, w/ the current special of getting 3 nights w/ the 4 nights deal I've read about others getting pin codes, etc. I stumbled on this board for the first time. Not planning on going any time soon, but for the future...how does everyone receive pin codes in the mail from Disney? Is it totally random? Do you have to travel there several times a year in order to receive one? Basically, inform me about the pin codes. Would love to have a discount to convince my dh we need to go sooner.

Pin Codes are special deals Disney sends to select candidates. It's sent on a random basis...some times it'll be the state you live in, how many times you have been, when the last visit was, etc.... It could be for any reason that Disney is selecting. To help your chances in receiving a Pin Code log onto Disney's website and be sure to click on to receive Email Offers and Newsletters. Make sure you're email will accept the email and not send it to your spam. Sign up to have a Disney Planning DVD mailed to you. Some times this will release a pin code in your name, address or telephone number.

For special deals that are forthcoming just keep visiting this webiste as well as www.wdwinfo.com, www.mousesavers.com and www.allears.net --these sites will post special deals as soon as they're announced.

The next big special deal everyone is waiting for would be the Free Dining Deal. Disney has released this special deal for the last several years. You pay rack rate at the resort, along with tickets and you get Free Dining. It's a great deal depending on how many you have traveling with you or your eating style. You'll get 1 snack, 1 quick service and 1 tabletop service for each night you stay per person.
