I wasn't sure where to post this but thought there was a good chance you all on this thread could help me from the parent perspective the best. I am considering doing this with my 5 year old DD and soon to be 3 year old DD in December. I am wondering of anyone's experience with this...is it worth the money...are the gift something your DDs have liked and continued to play with? Any picture?? And just as a side what did you as the parent wear to the tea party...I know it says the girls dress as their fav princess but wasn't sure about the mom's. Any help or info or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

My DD5 had done this twice. When she was three she didn't get much out of it, but she enjoyed getting the doll. When she was 4 she enjoyed it more. She dressed up and actually got into the dance. I asked her if she would like to go again this year (for her 6th birthday) but she said she would rather try the Alice in Wonderland Tea party this time.
I just wore capri pants and a nice top. There were moms in shorts and tanks, and some in dresses.

We did this last year with my then almost 5 year old daughter and teenage daughter. It was a lovely time! My youngest had a blast. It was a really special girl time! Here are some pics..hope I do this right:

Sorry to get carried away with the pics..I was enjoying going through our memories!:)

grace&phillipsmom....thank you for the info! I am a little worried about my 3 year old being bored but if sister came back to the room with the doll and she didn't get one...:scared1: she'd throw a huge fit.

juju...thanks for sharing...if you get the pictures figured out try again. I'd love to see pictures...even a ton of them. You can get carried away all you like.

Right now I'm leaning towards doing this with my girls. The Alice in Wonderland tea sounds great except my little one isn't old enough yet.:headache:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I greatly appreciate it!:worship:

We have not gone yet, but we plan to go in November with DD3 (who will be almost 4 when we go). She loves tea parties, although I'm pretty sure she won't eat the food.

My mom did this with my daughter (3) last week. They both had a wonderful time. Nana said the experience was top notch and my daughter loved it. Almost all the girls were dressed in princess outfits. My daughter really liked the host, Rose Petal. I managed to make it back from the spa to see them all parading through the GF lobby while people stopped and clapped for them. My little ham ate it up, of course.

Oh I did not know they paraded thru the lobby....how fun! I think my oldest would think this was cool as long as other girls were doing it!! I think I'm really wanting to do this and will have to remember to bring the video camera!

I was worried about the food too except I saw that the kids are served different items than the adults and grapes were included so my two will eat those for sure. I hope you have FUN!! I just don't know what princess the little one will want to be. My oldest has loved Belle from the beginning and still does so that is a no brainer on what to dress her as.
