Tell me about Payless (car rental)

I have an alamo reservation for May 21 - 30 for $204.xx for a midsize which includes an extra driver (which we most likely will not use).

I'm going to bid priceline in hopes of getting a standard or full size for less (under $200 is my goal, and bigger car is always better!). After looking at priceline, I realized that there is a possibility that Payless Rental Car might be the cheapest during my trip, and that my bid might get one of their cars. Has anyone used them in the past and would you use them again?

On priceline if you are bidding you will only get one of the major car rental companies and not Payless. The only way to get payless is if you book a car rental the normal way like you would anywhere else. It indicates the 5 majors when you go to bid on the vehicle. They are Avis, Alamo, Hertz, National and Budget. Note if you get Hertz a shuttle is required since they are offsite.
