HI

I made a reservation for Paddlefish for our arrival date on Sept 24/17. Has anyone eaten there?
What do you think?

I can tell you from two experiences at Paddlefish, one lunch and one dinner ( you know for research in case it's different). Dinner does have more options of entrees, the options that are available at both times are the same price which is nice cause sometimes Disney likes to charge more at dinner for the same thing. With a reservation there should be little to no wait for you when you get there.

During the lunch trip we had the New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Corn Dogs to start. For our entrees we split the New England Seafood Boil and Fish Tacos. We skipped dessert at lunch.
For the dinner trip we skipped a starter and dove into the meal with Jambalaya and Swordfish. This time we did have dessert and we got the charred carrot cake and strawberry shortcake.

Both meals were great, I would go as far as saying fantastic but I would go back again and try more options. Honestly I enjoyed the decor when it was Fulton's a lot more but you aren't eating the decor, the food is still great and the service is great. But there is always room for improvement.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I read the Disney Food Blog article but haven't found much from anyone who had gone to Paddlefish since it opened to the public. Do you know if it is a restaurant included in the DDP?

It is included in the dining plan, but it is a signature so 2 credits. And some items have an upcharge which can make it more confusing.

Thank you for your answer - the menu looks like a winner to us so I think we will give it a try. My travel partner is a seafood fiend and LOVES crab so I think this is the best option for her.

Just ate dinner there two days ago. It was excellent.

We had the charred octopus and calamari starters. I had a 14 oz bone in strip with crab mashed potatoes (a daily special) and my wife had the seafood cioppino. The kids had cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. For dessert my wife had an oreo milkshake and I had the charred carrot cake. The kids had the fudge brownie sundae and warm cookies and milk.
Food and service were both excellent.

If you want to pay cash, Paddlefish is participating on the Magical Dining Month special. $35 for 3 courses.

There is link to it on WDWInfo here. Or Google "Visit Orlando Magical Dining Month 2017" to find it.

I'm not sure how much my experience will help. We did go to Paddlefish for lunch on Sunday, but was surprised to find they had a brunch menu and we both ordered off of that menu because we love brunch. It was not listed on the menus online. We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive and friendly. I had the Monte Cristo French toast and my husband had eggs Benedict. They were both very good. We were seated at a table by the window on the side facing Rainforest Cafe and watched the amphibicars go by. Nice ambiance and modern decor in the restaurant and I felt a little uncomfortable in my lion king tank top and yoga pants.
