I have never been to WDW in November. We will be going for 6 nights in mid-November 2017! A few questions:
1) when do the resort Christmas decorations go up? We will be staying at GF.
2) is it likely to be warm enough to swim?
3) how is rain in November?
4)are crowd levels comparable to December?

Thanks!

1. Many resort decorations begin going up the first few weeks. But this year it wasn't until Novemeber 23rd that they opened the Gingerbread house at the Grand.
2. Weather can vary year to year so you will need to look at historical temperatures. We were at BLT this December and the highs during the day were upper 70s. They say the pools are heated, but they really aren't warm. Also, don't forget the cool air when you get out!
3. See number 2. It is the end of official hurricane season. Showers tend to pop up instead of sweep across the state.
4. Crowds vary week to week. December beginning is very different than Christmas and New Years weeks. Some people will mention Jersey week where folks from New Jersey seem to come down since the schools are off. Mid Novemeber before thanksgiving shouldn't been overly busy at all.

1) It varies a bit. You should see some decorations going up around mid November. The resorts start putting them up in Nov, but some have them up before others. When the GF will be putting theirs up exactly, I'm not sure. I think that there is some kind of lottery type draw as to when each resort starts?
2) We swim in November all the time. The pools are heated and we are from Canada, so 'the cold never bothers us, anyway'. You can get some very cool days in November when you may not want to swim. Alternatively you could strike a warm spell and be comfortable swimming every day. weather is more variable in the Nov - Jan time frame, it seems.
3) Some rain, but not a lot.
4) It depends upon your actual dates in either Dec or Nov. thanksgiving is busy. Before and after is less crowded.

Enjoy! We love going in November!

1) Usually the day or so after Halloween some of the stuff magicallypixiedust:appears. & usually dring that week more stuff to lmost everything by the time you get there
2) Lower 80's* to upper 70's* Perfect weather, & remember the pools will be heated
3) Virtually not much, if any at all..At least when we went.
4) If you're going to be there when F&W is done, I'm sure your crowds will be like 3's & 4s' Even the previous week or 2 ( jersey week) which we've done 4 times is still pretty good. Maybe 6's or 7s out of 10.. You should be fine.

You'll enjoy November, it's a nice time of year to be in Disney.
1) They start decorating the 1st week of November, they are usually complete a week before Thanksgiving. GF has beautiful decorations.
2) Maybe, we've been there when it has been 80 degrees and other times it's been 55 degrees, but you should get a least one or two warm days.
3) Not very likely, Nov is one of FL dryer months
4) Crowd levels are not bad, depending on when you're going you may catch the end of Jersey week but even that's not too crowded. Compared to Christmas week it's empty, compared to the 2nd week of December it's a little more crowded.

Have fun !

Went week bf thanksgiving last month. Great time to go! Low crowds and zero rain during our trip. Christmas decorations, etc. were all out.
