So hubby's leave did get changed to Early Nov. What goes on there during that time frame, and are the parks super crowded??

November is my very favorite time of year! :goodvibes We were there back in '04 at that time. Crowd levels were minimal. We only had to FP a few rides, and even then we probably really didn't even have to do it. The weather was PERFECT! It didn't rain a drop the whole week. :thumbsup2 The temperatures were great too - low 80's and no humidity. One day we went to Typhoon Lagoon and it was chilly when not in the weather, but it really wasn't that bad.

I'm going back to teaching this fall, and my district has off on Nov. 12-13 and I am dying to squeeze in a short trip to the World. DH isn't as keen on it as he'd rather save the money, but if I save, save, save from now until then we may just have to go too.

We are going for the first time in November. We usually go in March around Easter. On November 17 we are going to MVMCP which is a separate ticket and the parks close early for the party. By then I hear all the decorations are up at the resorts as well. It should be fun to see!

Love, love, love Disney in Novemer!!:lovestruc Definately my most favorite time to go. The first week(2-6) will be Jersey Week. Lots of schools are closing for the entire week this year. It might be more crowded then past Jersey Weeks, imo, but we are gonna do it anyway! I can't pass up a prime opportunity to go to the World and the kids miss NO school!

The weather was great the past times we have been there. 80s during the day and I packed a sweatshirt each day for when the sun went down. I think if you are going the second week you might be able to see the holiday decorations. We saw them in 2007 and I am dying to get back there around that time.:santa:

Have a wonderful trip!!

Our last trip was Nov 08.

Crowd levels are reported to be the lowest of the year the week before Thanksgiving.

This is also the "valuest" season

On top of that we were offered a pin for free dining.

Please PM if I can help with specific questions.

I just wanted to say we will be there over "jersey week" too Love October and November in Florida (as long as Hurricane season dosn't run long)

OT: THANK YOU!!!! to you, your family and your husband for the sacrifices you all make for the rest of us, all of our military men and women and thier families have my thoughts and prayers!!! Have a wonderful, well deserved vacation...:thanks::thanks::cheer2:

Very well said!

We love WDW in Nov! Oct is my favorite month to go, but now that the kids don't have a school break in Oct, and they are older and it's harder to miss even a day of school, we go in Nov. We are there Nov 19-26. Crowds will be lighter on the first couple of days, then will get heavier on the days building up to Thanksgiving. The weather is just perfect, IMO - warm during the day -- we wear shorts or capris and short sleeves, then bring a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt for the early AM & PM. Christmas decorations are up, and it is just beautiful!

Have fun! and I thank you, too, for the sacrifices that your DH and your family make for our country.:thanks:

We went Jersey week last year (usually the first week in Nov- public schools are closed for 2 days due to statewide teacher convention and lots of parents just take the whole week off) it wasn't as bad as Easter week :thumbsup2 but it will be more crowded than say the 2nd or 3rd week of Nov.

We are going again this year! Can't wait!

Okay so now I'm excited about going. Last time we went was early feb and we froze, so I am ready to have some nice weather there. Thanks everyone!!!
