Tell me about nightime at DCA

I realized that although we've visited a number of times, we have never spent time at DCA in the evening for anything other than WOC. Our next trip is this November in the days just before Thanksgiving. Besides catch WOC, what is open once the sun goes down? Does PP keep everything running? I enjoy roller coasters at night and could see CS or GSS being better after dark.

Select attractions on Paradise Pier do close due to WoC. I noticed that those include Screamin', Mickey's Fun Wheel, the carousel, Golden Zephyr, Silly Symphony Swings, and Jumping Jellyfish were shut down before WoC last weekend. TSMM remained open (I think) and it looked like the carousel reopened between WoC shows (Screamin did not seem to reopen).

The rest of the park didn't seem impacted by WoC or sundown.

I LOVE the parks at night.

Unfortunately Screamin and rides around the Paradise Pier close before WOC...and other than Car's Land which is a must see at night, the rest of the park is really nothing special at night IMO unlike Disneyland.

Hmm...what time will the first WOC show likely be in late November assuming they do two shows? Maybe we can get in CS while dark(ish) before the show?

Screamin' will most likely run until 8 PM that week, so with planning you can definitely get a ride in after dark. WoC will likely be at 9 PM and again at 10:15 PM with park closing at 10 PM. If Disney cheaps out and decides to close DCA at 9 PM instead, they are likely to only run one WoC, probably at 9 or 9:15 PM. Another fun ride for nighttime is Radiator Springs Racers, so you may want to try to time your fastpass for that ride for a night ride. Also, I love to see the lighting of Carsland at sunset.

My kids love to go to bugsland at night. They're a little old for most of the rides, but it's really pretty at night with all of the lights. I'd at least recommend a walk through.

Agree on bugs land. I'm addition to what others have said, GRR if meat at night. Personally I find it relaxing to wander around and drink as well !

This is a must see for fans of the movie, like me :goodvibes
Generally takes place a few minutes after the "official" sunset time, just check any weather app.
Viewable from anywhere on Cars Land Main Street (route 66), lighting starts at the RSR end.

I've never even seen the movie and still found the nighttime lighting in Cars Land amazing. Actually, I found all of Cars Land amazing. I really should see the movie
