Tell me about Mythos.

favorite dishes:
Lobster stuffed potato (if they still have it)

Sha_Lyn, no matter how many times you say it, i believe the fast lunch menu and the lobster stuffed potato are a thing of the past.

However the Corvina did re-appear so have faith:cool2:

LOL...... I knew I haven't seen it listed online for awhile, but never got conformation that it is gone.

I have a question for you. At the risk of sounding "Duh", what is corvina? We saw it on the menu, but don't know what it is. TIA!:confused3

Voted best theme park restaurant for the past 6 years!!

The outside is well themed.
The inside is well themed and very impressive.
The food is fine dining quality at a very reasonable price.
Many locals that are annual pass holders are regulars and some non-pass holders use the dining pass feature just to enjoy the food and atmosphere of this place.

Button Mushroom Brioche is an appetizer that by itself makes eating at MYTHOS worth it.

The rissoto of the day is a chef creation that has never disappointed me. It changes monthly or weekly or daily depending on what fresh or in season items are available.

The Chicken a La Oscar is nothing short of fantastic.

The Pork with Pistachio/Blue Cheese/Blueberries sounds odd but is a flavorful delight.

The Corvina was the first dish i ever ate at MYTHOS and was what kept me coming back. It went away for a while and it is now back.

Chocolate Banana "gooey" Cake. The only true dessert that remains. It was brought back after enough of us complained about the "test tube" desserts only being available. It is also worth the visit.

Chef Mark, Kelly, Ellen, Bonnie, Kitty, John, Vinney, Robert, Liann, Marian and many others all make this place a special one that is not duplicated within the "theme park itself" at any other location anywhere. :cool2:
:thumbsup2
Had lunch there on Wednesday. It was busy - about a 15-20 minute wait at 2:30 in the afternoon even after showing the room key. Everytime we passed by all week there was a small crowd waiting to be seated.

The menu was celebrating mushrooms, so lots of items with the fungus.

There was no lobster stuffed potato :sad1:

Both the pastabilities and risotto of the day were a shi take(space added otherwise mushrooms get bleeped out)/veggie/meat blend (Can't remember the exact ingredients as I didn't listen that closely.)

Even though I am not a huge fan of mushrooms, the meal was again one of the best we had all week.

As MIB999999 said, the chicken oscar was fantastic.

So was the Oriental chicken salad, the burger with applewood bacon (DS said it rivaled his favorite Cheeseburger in Paradise) and the chicken club sandwich.

It should be a must try on everybody's vacation.

I have eaten at Mythos twice and it was wonderful. I had a barbq sandwhich, thir mashed potatoes, and thier chocolate dessert (can't remember the name of it but it had peanut butter ice cream with it.

Just ate there for the second time yesterday and it was fantastic!!

For you BBQ fans out there, try the smokey cowboy BBQ beef sandwich with cheddar cheese................ohhhhhh!.

Service is a little slow but well worth the wait and the price is more than reasonable.
