I was wondering if someone could tell me about the Islands Breakfast Buffet?
~ hours, food items included, are drinks included, etc?

TIA!

Thanks christophfam. Saw the menu, but couldn't tell exactly what was included in the buffet. Any idea?

I stayed at the RPR for 5 days last May and ate every day at the buffet. It's 16.95 for adults and 6.95 for kids and is worth the money. Everything is included like juice, milk, soda, coffee, and it's unlimited refills. They have all the breakfast items you can imagine or want, including an omelet station where a chef will make it to order for you. It's cheaper to do the buffet than to order off the menu separately. We ate there around 9:30 am every morning then went to the parks and we skipped lunch because we were still full and it ended up saving us money. A great way to start a morning. Here's my trip report last May and post 64 I talk about the buffet.

Thanks disneyfan67! That sounds wonderful, & with the drinks included that makes for a great deal.

Do you happen to know what time breakfast hours end?
We'll be arriving around 10:00 am & I think that would be a great place to have breakfast that 1st day, but don't know if they'll still be open for breakfast.

I believe it ends at 11, but it can't hurt to call the hotel directly. I ate there around 10 at times and remember what a great buffet it was. Here's the link and it says it's open until noon for breakfast, but the buffet closes at 11. You should always call to confirm.

You should have plenty of time and I advise going to the buffet first, then checking in, if your worried about time getting short. Before you think it's a crazy idea hear me out. My line of thinking is, if there's no line at check in, then go ahead and do that first, but if it's a big, long line and remember most rooms aren't available until 4, then go eat. The restaurants are one floor below the lobby and main entrance and it's a quick walk to the Islands restaurant. The bell services will hold your luggage and give you a claim ticket. Just wanted to give your options available to you. Still, I don't think you would have a problem time wise though and good luck.

We ate breakfast bufet there in june and agree great food .
everything from eggs, saugage. bis, gravey just about anything you want and the omlet station is great and I think the price of $16.95 is well worth it and I believe it does end at 11:00 am :thumbsup2

Thanks again Eddie! I'll definitely give them a call prior to our departure, but it sounds like if we arrive at RPR around 10:00, we should be able to grab some breakfast before checking in. We'll really be in no rush to check in, as we plan to spend our 1st day poolside.

Thanks ky07!
Sounds like there would be something for everyone on the buffet.
All this talk about food is making me hungry popcorn::!

That sounds like a plan then. Check your luggage and then walk down the staircase in the lobby to the lower level. It literally drops you off right in front of the dining room and Jake's bar. Eat, relax, and come right back up to check in and it's that simple. I don't know if you ever have been there before, but if not, you're going to be amazed how nice it is.The layout of the RPR is very easy to get around once you get situated to where everything is. It's a beautiful resort and you're going to love the pool. IMO, I think it's one of the nicest resort pools in Orlando. Here's few of my pictures.
