Tell me about Hoop-Dee-Doo

I have a ADR in Dec. for Hoop-Dee-Doo. I don't know much about the show or the food. It just looked entertaining. What is the food like? The entertainment? I am taking my DD5, DD2, and 8 year old nephew. Will the comedy be at their level? If we are going to use 2 TS for this dinner show, I just want to make sure they will have fun and be entertained.
So trying to decide to keep my ADR or cancel and wait to take them when they are older.

The kids will have a great time, its definitly family entertainment. Abunch of grown ups who are funny and acting silly! They even involve the children in one point of the show!

The food is served family style; fried chicken, cornbread, baked beans, salad , potatoes and the best strawberry shortcake this side of the Mississippi!

Book early and you can request a table up close to the stage.

We love the HDDR! This is a must do for us EVERY trip. The show is silly but fun. My DD saw the show for the first time when she was 6 and every time we plan a trip she asks to go to HDDR(she's 14 now!). The food consists of fried chicken, BBQ ribs, beans, cornbread, and strawberry shortcake. It's pretty good and served family style in buckets. Audience participation is "encouraged" as part of the show.
