Tell Me About HHI in October

My daughter will have Fall break the week of October 12th next year. We were going to do the Cruise but the ship will be in dry dock that week....go figure!

So my mom and I thought.....why not go to Hilton Head.

How will the weather be?
Is there enough to do for a whole week there?
What is the beach like?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!!

We are at HH right now. The weather has been wonderful so far with high temps in the mid-upper 80's and overnight lows in the upper 60's. The ocean temp is still in the upper 70's and we've gone swimming the last several days. The resort pools are also heated.

We did have some rain last weekend and a cold front is moving thru tonight bringing some showers overnite. Temps over this weekend will be in the low-mid 70's.

The activities at the resort are still in full swing with things to do for all ages. The shrimp boil is still offered and the "kid's night out" evening programs are also offered as well as ghost stories, magic shows and craft activities.

The resort has been pretty busy this week since a lot of families were here over the Columbus Day holiday and now some schools are having their Fall Break.
