Tell me about hair replacement & such

So I know a young person considering it. The surgery seems ok, although expensive. The medications supposed to be taken with it seem to have bananas side effects. Can't tell how necessary the medication actually is to the process.

Oddly, I have never heard anyone discuss the results or aftermath.

If no-one knows anyone who has had an experience maybe this is way more rare than I thought it was, for some reason I thought all this was as common as Botox and nips/tucks for women.
